Hisham Al Taher

Hisham holds senior positions in sports associations both domestically and internationally.

He serves as the Board member and Chief Executive Officer of Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club, dedicated to promoting chess, go, draughts, and other mind sports in the region of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Additionally, he is an Executive board member of the Asian Esports Federation and the General Secretary of the Arab Electronics Sports Federation (ARESF), overseeing Arab National federations in 22 countries.

As the General Secretary of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) since 2006, Hisham is responsible for maintaining relations with 52 National Chess Federations in Asia and Oceania.

Beyond his contributions to the sports sector, Hisham is the founder and chairman of HLB HAMT Chartered Accountants and its affiliates.
