The 16th World Bridge Games offered an exciting Grand Final with one of the most remarkable finals’ days in the history of World Championships.
The third session of the finals offered up a collection of potential swing deals. In the Mixed Teams China won the session 52-0 against Poland while in the Open series Poland outscored Italy 62-0. Those remarkable results were eclipsed in the Women’s bronze medal playoff match between China and the USA, in which the Americans, trailing 43-101, turned the match around with a stunning 88-0 scoreline!
